Home of the 2022 and 2023 ADGA Reserve National Champion and Reserve Best udder!
Thank you for your interest in my herd! My herd is located in Owings Mills, Maryland. The story surrounding how I ended up back in goats is interesting to say the least. I started in goats when I was a teenager. I lived in Western New York and attended as many shows as I could. After graduating high school, I moved to Wisconsin to work at One*Oak*Hill farm. I was only there for a few months before I travelled the country with Frozen Assets doing assisted animal reproduction. After I finished working with Frozen Assets, I decided I needed to go back to school to get a degree. I dispersed my goats at that time. I kept in touch with people in the goat industry and even after graduating college, I would still go to local goat shows and to the National Show as a spectator. Fast forward to 2013 National Show. I had talked to Brandi Giachino through Facebook and she asked if I would help her show all of her goats. Of course I told her yes! During the week our friendship grew and we had a grand ole time. By Friday, it was a hot and humid Minnesota day for the Wine and Cheese event. Let's just say I enjoyed the wine a little too much and when the Colorama sale started, I decided I was going to bid up the consignments. Well, I ended up being the high bidder for the oberhasli and now I had a goat again! The only problem, I lived in the city! My friend Brandi Giachino was gracious enough to take the doe home with her. It took me a lot longer than expected to save up my pennies and nickels to buy a small farmette with some land. That finally happened in January of 2021 and the goats arrived after the 2021 National Show in July.
My herd has grown and I am trying to build a herd that is known for consistency, milk, and show. Take a few minutes to check out my site and reach out if you want to know more!
Thank you,
